Unable to access old account because registered email has been deleted

  Hi there, I am trying to access a very old wordpress account from when I was a teenager so that I can make it private. The issue is, the email that I used to create the account has since been deleted by Yahoo due to inactivity, so I am unable to access it. I also believe this account was created before things like two step authentication, transaction IDs, etc were a thing. (This account was created in 2006 and hasn’t been used since 2008)
