Unable to access or delete site

There is still a blog associated with my account (https://gotheca.wordpress.com). I want to delete it, but it does not appear under ‘My Site’, so the instructions don’t help me. I can’t even edit the content. How do I get to it?

If you are not seeing that blog under ‘My Site,’ I suspect that the blog may not be under the account you are logged into. All of your sites under the account you are logged into should display under ‘My Site(s).’
If you do not see a site under that account, do you know if you remember creating another account? If so, please check to see if you can log into that account to see if you have the ability to delete from that account.
If you are not logged in under the correct username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into another account.
If the log-in information is lost you need to visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

The site, gotheca.wordpress.com, belongs to the username, gotheca. From what I can see in that site’s logs, your username has never had access to that site’s dashboard.
Only the username gotheca can make changes to or delete that site. If you cannot remember your login details for that username, you can find our account recovery options here:
