unable to access our website
-
Hi,
We are a community based organisation in which is run by volunteers, the person who set up the website is now not available to us and we need to update the contact information on the website, I have tried to put through a request for the recovery form but dont have the proof of ownership information, I am able to access the website but it wont allow me access to the dashboard so that I can make changes to the website it is giving me this message:
“User workersjrlcsecretary Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested
You are logged in as “workersjrlcsecretary” and do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for “Blacktown Workers JRLC”. If you are not “workersjrlcsecretary”, please log out, and log back in with your username. If you are “workersjrlcsecretary” and you need access, please ask an administrator of the site to invite you”.
could you please advise how to correct this situation, it is now a matter of urgency. -
Are you trying to access https://workersjrlc.com/ site?
To me, it looks like that this site is linked to workersjrlc username. You need to log in as workersjrlc to access the admin panel of https://workersjrlc.com/
If you are trying to access any other site please let know the website address,

Hi there,
As @akumarjain mentioned, the site you are trying to access is linked to the workersjrlc username. You must be logged in under that particular username in order to gain access to the dashboard. Do you have the login credentials for that particular account? If not, then the best bet is to somehow get in touch with the person who has that information.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

Hi
Some1 at the club asked for a password reset and this was done, like i said i can access the website with this new password but it gives me a message to say i need aministrator invite to proceed any further to the dashboard, like i advised the person who was responsible for the website previously is not available to pass on this information hence the reason for the password reset. -
Hi there,
If you aren’t able to provide an email from the email address with which the blog was registered, a PayPal transaction ID, or the original activation link, I’m afraid we won’t be able to help you recover the account.
In order to regain access to your account, the best bet is to try to temporarily regain access to the e-mail associated with the account, contact the current owner to see if they are willing to transfer ownership over to you.
Since you’re no longer in contact with the site owner, I can e-mail the address associated with the account for you and see if they are willing to transfer over the site, if that would help.
We have a strict policy in place to protect our users from third parties who might try to use our support system to gain access to other users’ accounts.
However, if there’s personal information on your blog, I would be happy to set it to private for you so search engines and users can’t access it – just let me know.
If you want to start blogging again, you can create a new account by signing up here:

Let me know if you have any other questions
Thanks,

Hello,
Thank you for your help, if u cld email the information that would be great as advised previously we are the owner of Blacktown Workers JRLC, the person who set it up was just a committee member if u need proof that we are the owner we can provide this information. -
Hello after discussion with other comittee members we have decided if u can make the account personal and we will sign up for another website.
Many thanks -

I have updated your site’s reading settings to make it private. It can take some time for Google to update its index, and WordPress.com doesn’t have any control this. Over time, Google’s crawlers will realize that your site is gone and Google will update its listings. You can read more about how this works here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/You can try to speed things up by requesting a site removal from Google search results by following the instructions here:
