Unable to Access website dashboard when logging in

I am trying to login to the back end of my site to edit however when i log in (which I am able to do) I am brought to our website home page or the front end like you would see if you were just on the website as a visitor. i’ve watched a ton of youtube videos but NOTHING!
HELP PLEASE!
