Unable to access website or admin dashboard
-
I attempted to access my website and noticed it was no longer available and the domain was no longer in my name (had been sold/transferred) without my knowledge. I then attempted to access my word press admin dashboard and received a message that the server was not responding. Uncertain what to do and how to proceed. Please assist.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @hopescorner, it sounds like your site isn’t hosted here. If your old domain expired, you can try contacting Namecheap about what it takes to get it back, or you can register a new one. Or, your host may have some temporary address that you can use to get to your files. Here’s how to change the site’s domain: https://wordpress.org/support/article/changing-the-site-url/
Then, if you need more help with your WordPress installation, you’ll want to be sure to use the forums for the free, DIY WordPress code instead, as these forums are primarily for our free-tier hosting.
Here’s an overview of our services vs the DIY software, but in short, we provide hosting, maintenance, security, support, and spam filtering, as well as real-time backups depending on the plan you use. If you’re interested in moving your site here, let us know your goals with your site and any questions you have. We can confirm the best plan for your case and recommend your next steps.
Cheers!

A company called New York Logo that set up the website for me. They informed me that word press was the host. This is what they sent me in an earlier email:
“If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.
That link is no longer active. But, they advised that if there were any issues with the site to reach out to Word Press. Uncertain how to locate the host and recover my website if it’s not through Word Press.

Hi there, @hopescorner!
It sounds like you lost access to the domain, right? It sounds like innowebtest.tech expired and someone purchased the domain. You can reach out to Namecheap to confirm that.
Since innowebtest.tech no longer points to your site and you no longer own this domain, the young.innowebtest.tech subdomain will not work either. You should see if you can regain access of innowebtest.tech or add a different domain to your WordPress site.
The WordPress site that was attached to young.innowebtest.tech was not hosted here with us at WordPress.com. You will want to reach out to your host to receive help for that site. We are not able to determine where this site is hosted. It seems that the site was hosted by New York Logo. You should ask them what host they use. Their email was just just sharing how to troubleshoot an issue with your site (like a plugin issue).
WordPress.com is a manged host for WordPress sites and is different than WordPress.org (the self hosted version of WordPress). You have a self hosted WordPress site. We can only offer support for sites hosted here with us at WordPress.com.

Okay, wow. Thank you for explaining that. Makes more sense. I will continue making attempts to reach out to New York Logo.

Always happy to help, @hopescorner! Wishing you good luck! I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week.
