Unable to access WordPress
-
Hello,
Please note this account is not the same account linked to our main WordPress, that account just can’t be accessed and I need to try and get answers.
While attempting to login to the backend of our corporate site to update product changes, we received the following error message,
“There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”
It’s the same username and password we always use. We have never had this issue before with login. We were able to login to WordPress about two months ago to change some email information on the site.
We can’t figure out what was the actual email that would have received anything WordPress related. Past employees did not leave information for Transaction IDs or Authorization codes or keys in our system and we don’t have 2FA setup.
Is there any other way to recover our account? I can’t find anything else that looks to be remotely helpful and I can’t send a message to customer support for account recovery without a Transaction ID, Authorization code or key, or 2FA. Might anyone else have experienced this before, were you able to get the account back? If anyone has any insight, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
