Unable to activate theme

  I can’t activate a new theme.
  The error message during activation is ‘Unable to activate theme. Contact Support.’.

  How can I solve this issue?

  Hi @donnnatas, that’s an odd one. Can you copy and paste the URL/address for the page where you see this error, so we have more context?

  Please let us know what theme you’re trying to activate, too. We’ll go from there!

  Thank you for your feedback.
  I get the error message in the webpage – https://wordpress.com/themes/donatasbudrys.wordpress.com .

  Currently my active theme is Fictive (it seems to be retired) and I get the error message when try to activate any free theme, for example Twenty Twenty-One.

  Hi Donatas,

  I don’t see anything on your site that would prevent you from changing the theme. Could you clear your browser’s cache and then try again from https://wordpress.com/theme/twentytwentyone/donatasbudrys.wordpress.com?

  If that doesn’t work, is it okay if we change the theme for you?
