Unable to activate theme

  Hey i just signed up and it has been more than 3 hours and i am not even able to activate a theme, It says unable to activate theme. I am literally so fed up right now, i thought wordpress would be so easy to use and now i am not even able to activate a theme, everytime it says unable to activate, contact support.

  Could you please help?

  We can’t help you as your site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform. I even see your site http://box2412.temp.domains/ even isn’t online. Best to contact your hosting.

  it’s because i just got it yesterday, i heard that it take 1/2 days for the domain name to change back to the original.

  You mean to say contact bluehost?

  One Simple Question- Every theme that i try to activate it says unable to activate contact support, every single theme except the ones from Astra and that also is not working properly😒

  Can you tell me why am i not even able to activate the simplest theme?
  i tried activating Blank canva and again it says Unable to activate.

  Hi there,

  Are you perhaps trying to activate the theme via Appearance >Themes here on WordPress.com? If so, that’s not working because all your site’s settings accessible from our end depends on the Jetpack plugin, and the Jetpack connection for your site is broken at the moment, most likely because the site itself also appears to currently be offline.

  So you’ll need to contact Bluehost support, first to get the site loading again, and then they can help you access the admin user account. Once you’re logged into the dashboard, you can reconnect Jetpack, but then you can also try to install a new theme there directly, instead of going through us first.

  If that still won’t work, please ask for advice in the WordPress.org community forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/, as those are the folks who make the version of WordPress you’re using, or else contact support for the specific theme you’re trying to use directly for help.
