Unable to add hyperlinks to post

  For some reason I can’t add hyperlinks to my posts. The boxes are greyed out and If I go to the text tab and try and add a link that way, it doesn’t work.

  Can someone help?

  Make sure you are highlighting the text in your post that you want to attach the link too. The boxes are greyed out until you highlight something.

  I did notice that you have links here:
  http://shoehornedtales.wordpress.com/2014/07/10/on-fiction/
  so you were able to get them to work in an older post.
