Unable to add media or request feedback
-
Hello. I’m unable to add media to a blog post (I had to do it using HTML and text) and I can’t request feedback. I click on the “request feedback” and nothing happens. Many of the features on my dashboard are not working. Help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Heather,
Can you please clear your browser cache and try again:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clear-your-cache-and-cookiesIf that doesn’t fix it, could you please also try a different browser to see if you still have the same problem. This will help us rule out a browser-specific issue.
Also, can you please make a screenshot of what you’re seeing? Here are instructions for how to make a screenshot: http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/
You can upload it to your blog’s Media Library and I can look at it there.
-
OK, I did those steps and I’m still unable to add media to a post in this blog. I updloaded my screen shot to the media library, but nothing happens when I click add media.
-
Also, when I click on “add link” it kicks me out of the blog post and takes me to the dashboard. Sigh.
-
Hi Heather – Thanks for trying that. Can you please go to the screen with your Add Media button in Chrome, and there please do the following:
1: Use the keyboard shortcut Control+Shift+J
2: Select View > Developer > JavaScript Console.
3: If there are errors/warnings the console will displays a red icon along with the message text, which is colored red. Please copy paste the content of that and post it in this thread. -

Thanks for the error messages, that’s really helpful.
Our developer has asked if you could go to your Add Media area again, and add the following to the address in the browser:
&concat_js=no
So you’d be looking at https://vmhealthblog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1028&action=edit&concat_js=no
And then send us the error messages from the console there?

Thanks! I appreciate both your patience and your willingness to provide detailed debugging information.
We’re still digging into this and will let you know when we figure out what’s going on.

Hey there! Thank you for your patience and thanks for helping us try and debug the issue, we really appreciate it!
Can you try and access the following URLs in your browser, and see if you get a 403 error? Please do clear cache and try a couple browsers if possible, like Chrome and IE.

I think things are working now. Our Web security software was blocking access to gravatar.com. Thanks for your help!
