Unable to add new Word Press

    I am trying to add a WordPress with the domain http://www.kirstiebrote.com. In the create new WordPress flow when I select the free plan I receive the following error msg. and cannot continue.

    Error text:
    Oops! Sorry an error has occurred. Please click here to contact us so that we can fix it. Please remember that you have to provide the full, complete Blog URL, otherwise we can not fix it

    Hello Kirstie,

    I’m sorry you’re having troubles while creating your new website!

    Did you buy your kirstiebrote.com domain? When creating a WordPress.com website, you have to first create a wordpress.com site address, than mapping your other existing domain – or buying it through WordPress.com.
    Do you reckon that would be the cause of this error?

    I was buying the domain name through WordPress.com. I do not currently have the domain. Thank you.

    Alright. Sounds good, though I don’t recall why my blog was suspended (it was so many years ago), this experience has reminded me of why I was hesitant to try WordPress again. I will take my business over to WIX. Thank you.
