unable to add plugins

I’m asking for a friend. Her wordpress is drstaceynaito.com. She is unable to add plugins even though she pays for the premium package. It is telling her she needs to pay for a business account in order to add plugins. This doesn’t make any sense. I’ve been on the free package the entire time and able to add plugins. Why can’t she if she is premium?

The situation your friend describes is correct – in order to upload plugins on WordPress.com they would need a Business Plan.
In your situation, it sounds as though you may be using a self-hosted installation of WordPress with another host? These would usually allow plugins to be loaded but are different to sites hosted on</em WordPress.com.
