Unable to Add Video to Widget

  Hello. Having a bit of trouble changing the video on my site’s widget (top right hand corner below the search bar).

  Anytime I even access this, a message comes up “Sorry, we can’t load the video at the supplied URL. Please check that the URL is for a supported video file (.mp4, .m4v, .webm, .ogv, .flv) or stream (e.g. YouTube and Vimeo).”

  I’ve never come across this problem before, and it doesn’t seem to be working with any videos. What’s going on?

  Update. Oddly enough, if I use split-second timing to hit “add to widget” before the message pops up, there is no problem. Hopefully this will go away though.

  Hi there,

  This is a known issue and we’re working to fix it.

  In the meantime, you can use the Text widget. Just add the Text widget, paste the video link and the video will be embedded.
