That´s because you can´t add new plugins when you use a WordPress.com account. It´s already prebuilt with a bunch of useful plugins, but if you require more you should consider building a site using WordPress.org instead.

    Hi,
At you have mentioned, if I want to use WooCommerce plugin, the best is using WordPress.org, am I need to download it? or I can building my site online? If it need to download, will it support Apple operating system?

WordPress.org is free and available for download here:

    Download

And yes, you can build your site online, and it will work perfectly with any operating system as far as I know.

However, you’ll get better support for your questions about WordPress.org at the WordPress.org Forum. They’re specialists on the subject. On this forum you’ll find the best help for WordPress.com subjects. The WordPress.org forum is found here:

And if you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.org and WordPress.com, check out this video:

I think this video favorizes WordPress.org a bit too much, but you get to see some differences none the less. The simple explanation is that if you’re new to building websites, WordPress.com is the best choice. If you want more control, or if you want to sell stuff online, WordPress.org might be your best choice.
