My client is not able to update and administer this website. Can you tell me whether it has lapsed, whether there is money payable? How can we get this site back up and running please?

Hi there,
The Domain Connection upgrade for that site expired a while ago, and that’s why the site isn’t loading anymore. It’s, however, still accessible via its free address at https://tweedawardscomau.wordpress.com/
To fix that, they need to upgrade to one of our plans and reconnect the domain by following this guide:
If you already own a domain name with another provider, you can use that domain with your WordPress.com site. Once you complete the steps below, instead of your site address being something like yourgroovysite.wordpress.com, your site’s address will be something like yourgroovydomain.com. Follow the steps in this guide to keep your domain registered with your current provider and use it to showI see that they previously were on the Business plan, so they can get that plan again. If they need more help, you can let them know that they can reply to this thread, and we’ll help them with the upgrade and the reconnection process.

Thank you. Will they be able to reinstate the old site once they’re paid up? Or will it require a complete rebuild?

Hi there!
The site is still here: https://tweedawardscomau.wordpress.com/ – Some features may have been removed since the plan expired, but you can see the content is still there.
Note that you will need to log into the correct WordPress.com account where you own the site. The account you’re posting from (@adnetcomau) does not own this site, so you will not see it on your dashboard.
If you need help logging into the other account, you can review our account recovery options here.
At some point, you may run into a situation in which you’ve lost access to your account. We want to ensure that you take the necessary steps to avoid getting locked out and set up your WordPress.com account to be recoverable. MY enquiry is on behalf of a client. She tells me her username is Tweed2485 but it returns the error User does not exist.

Hi there!
There are no WordPress.com accounts using that username. Perhaps she is referring to an account on a WordPress.org site, which would be different from a WordPress.com site. Can you ask your client to go to https://tweedawardscomau.wordpress.com/ and check if this is the correct site?
The address is different, but please ask them to visit the site and check if that’s the site they are referring to.

Hi again, I am now logged in and can see the site for tweedawards.com.au
What is the process for getting the site back live?
Thanks for your help so far

Hey there,
It looks like the domain is already pointing toward WordPress.com, and needs to be set up here. This can be done as per these steps here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/
To note, in order to set a custom primary domain, the site would need to be on a paid plan, at a minimum the personal plan:
I hope these steps help!
