Even though jet pack is enabled, users of the website can’t able to authorize the account to use in API integrations. Any body else facing the same issue??

I have integrated wordpress in my application via REST API.
When users of self hosted websites uses their account in REST api integration getting following error “we could not verify your authorization with that site”. Even though Jet pack plugin also enabled for that website.Integrating working flawlessly for WordPress hosted website. Facing above issue for wordpress hosted sites.
Can you please clarify, what changes need to be done to make REST api implementation to work for self hosted website?

To clarify, are you using Jetpack, not the included Rest API?

Yes, i am using jetpack & not using API from https://developer.wordpress.org/rest-api/.
I am using REST API document in https://developer.wordpress.com/docs/api/.
PS: Can you please clarify the difference between above two REST API’s?

@prabaaa I’m mainly asking so I’ll know where to look for more information; as a non-developer I can’t speak to the experience of using one or the other. But you can find several differences here:
https://developer.wordpress.org/rest-api/reference/Also as noted here, WordPress.com supports both APIs:

Also can you let me know a few of the sites you’re struggling with so we can check connections, etc?
