Unable to bring up my blog

  When I try to bring up my site I get the message: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/content/09/2511609/html/wordpress/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 1531. This happens even when I am on the WordPress.com site. I bring up the formatting.php page in my editor and cannot find a “$end error on that line. I would appreciate any advice I can get.
