Unable to cancel domain renewal online

    The support/service pages I am able to access on the WP help subdomain, and in the kb, all refer me to online help to cancel the automatic renewal of my domain coming up in a few days. I don’t want to have to call by phone and wait on hold and have someone try to convince me to keep a domain I don’t use and no longer want. I need this domain shut down, the site only lets me cancel the private registration, but NOT canceling any further billing, which is REALLY lame. I’m seriously thinking of going back to GoDaddy, more pricey and ad-heavy, but they don’t restrict account auto & self-management the way WP seems to (not just on this aspect of acct options)… which is really sad. I’d like to continue to support WP.com, but it’s looking more and more feature-undesirable as the years pass.

    Sorry if you found any problem in finding a solution for your case. I checked your account and found you have more than one domain registered, is that for “chcbp.org”? If so, I found the thread below:

    Where we asked if you want to cancel the domain, we can cancel for you.

    Let me know which domain you’re talking and we can proceed to resolve this situation.
