Unable to cancel theme for second blog

    I have 2 blogs, the second one I purchased a custom theme for. Now I am being billed for another year and want to cancel. But I can’t even find an ‘appearance’ tab on this second blog’s dashboard, let alone access any account/billing/upgrade information for it. All of that simply applies to my first blog. Any ideas?

  • So, first off, are you sure that it was a theme purchase? Themes are one time purchases and would not have been rebilled.

    Secondly, I am not seeing any history of a theme purchase on the user account that you are posting from. So it seems likely that you ended up with a second account somehow.

    What is the URL of the site that you purchased the upgrade for?

  • Could the upgrade have been a domain registration for the domain allaboutfelix.com?

    Hi rootjosh and thanks for looking at this. I’m sorry I made a mistake, it was a custom design (CSS) upgrade purchased for diminutivegoats.wordpress.com (this was just an experiment and kept ‘private’ – let me know if you need me to make it public).

    Ironically if I go to that blog I can’t even find an ‘appearance’ tab on the dashboard, let alone the custom design panel so I don’t know what’s going on. But in any event, I received a message from paypal notifying me that a further annual payment of $30 is due to be taken soon. As I don’t really need the CSS upgrade I just want to cancel it, but can’t see how. Any thoughts gratefully received!

    ….ok, looking over your messages I worked out where I was lost. It’s not ‘my’ blog, but my husband’s. I obviously only have ‘write’ access to it so the dashboard is not complete. I’ve logged in as him and managed to cancel the upgrade so all is well.
