Unable to categorize a post

Under “Tags and Categories,” my options are add a new tag, choose from existing tags, and add a new category. No option to choose an existing category.

To help narrow down where the issue is can you let me know a few things?
Has it always been this way for you with the new interface or just started?
What browser and version are you using?
What sort of device are you using?
If you’re not sure this page could help you find out https://www.whatismybrowser.comIn the mean time if you go into the Dashboard to post, you should be able to choose existing categories and tags as before.

As of this morning, the categories are back.
But yes, it has always been this way for me for the new interface.
I use Firefox on a Macbook Pro OSX version 10.9.4. -
Glad it’s back. I believe from other threads I’ve been seeing that the new editor is being worked on, so hopefully it is fixed up for good for you.
