Unable to change back to Public from Private

    Hello,

    My website was Private and I tried to change the settings to Public, but when I visit the website it still says it is Private. I also tried to change it to Coming Soon, but it still said it was Private. Any idea what could be the issue here?

    Hi there,

    It seems that the issue is caused by your site’s homepage being set to private. In order to fix this, you’ll need to make your homepage public as well. Please follow these simple steps:

    1. Go to your WordPress.com Dashboard.
    2. Click on “Pages” in the left-hand menu.
    3. Locate your homepage, which is titled “untitled”.
    4. Click on the three dots next to the page title.
    5. Select “Publish” from the dropdown menu.

    Once you’ve done this, your homepage should now be public, and your site should be visible to everyone.
