Unable to change caption for my featured images

Hi there, I uploaded a feature image for my second blog but it automatically pre-filled the caption from my first blog and I can’t seem to figure out a way to change it.

Hi there,
This is happening because you added that caption directly to the single post template for your theme. All posts you publish use that template, so the caption displays on all posts.
To fix this, go to the site editor at Appearance ->Editor. Click the template name at the top, and select Single Post. Then remove the caption you’ve added there (which is actually just a regular paragraph block, not an actual image caption) and update the template.
I understand you’re trying to add attribution for third party images you’re using as featured image, but at this time it’s not possible to display captions on featured images. There’s currently a discussion on WordPress.org, where the WordPress software gets made, about adding something like this in the editor, but for now no such option exists.
So if you want to add attribution for your featured images, you’ll need to do it in the content of the posts themselves, either at the top of the post, so it appears right under the featured image, or else in a footnote at the bottom of the post.
Adding it to the top of the post content is going to mess with your SEO, because search engines (and the WordPress.com Reader, your subscription emails, and RSS feed readers) are going to see that as the first line of your post, not as an image caption, so personally I’d go with the footnote route :)
Let me know if you have any questions about this.
