Unable to change color of post headings
-
PLEASE HELP! I want the color of my blog post headings to be #009AD8, a medium blue. I have figured out how to change the color if I hover over the headings, how to change the font, how to change the size. And after 4 times through the CSS sheets, I cannot successfully change the color or the weight. (It looks bold to me, and I don’t want it to be bold.)
I believe the post headings are “H2,” but I’m not positive. It doesn’t matter. I’ve tried adding the color code anywhere I think it might apply, and nothing has worked.

You may achieve some progress using Firebug… 2-minute intro:

Thanks for the link to Firebug…Sorry for not adding a link to the blog. I was brain dead from sitting at the computer for too long. The Blogger blog is myautoauthority.com (so you can see the look I ultimately hope to achieve). The WordPress version is http://staraa.wordpress.com/.

The theme you have chosen, Kubrick, is a very strange theme in that it is very old and the CSS was done in a bizarre way. K2 is actually the update to Kubrick and the CSS is done far better. The post titles in Kubrick are controlled here:
`a:link {staraa.w…press.com (line 606)
color:#999999;
}`but that also controls all link text, so the links in the posts and the links in the sidebar widgets (archives, categories, etc.) will also change.

Thank you!! I will give this a whirl. Kubrick was the default theme when I logged in, so I assumed that was a good one to start with.
