unable to change email address

I’m attempting to change my email address from (email visible only to moderators and staff) to (email visible only to moderators and staff) (http://djordanredhawk.com)
The program refuses to accept the change, though I can change just about everything else with my account.

Have you confirmed the email address change by clicking on the confirmation link sent to the updated email address?

It won’t go that far. When I save the changes, it tells me an error occurred. No emails are sent to either address.

Hi there,
When you update your email address you have to choose an email address that isn’t already linked to a WordPress.com account. (Each account has to use a unique email address.) If the email address is already linked to another account, it won’t be accepted.
If you need, you can reset the password for a WordPress.com account by entering the email address in this form:
