Unable to change font

Add topic to favorites
When I try to apply this to my CSS Stylesheet Editor nothing changes…

#header h1 {font-family: FF Market;}
#header #blog-description {font-family: FF Market;}
#access #menu {font-family: FF Market;}

Can anyone help me with this?

We need a link to the site you are talking about. When I click on your username, this is what I get:

peonypinkdotcom.wordpress.com is no longer available.

The authors have deleted this blog.

When I first set up my WP account I set up that site and then changed it, but haven’t been able to change the link to my name even though I deleted the site.

To change the link, go to users > personal settings in your dashboard, scroll down to account info and change the URL in the “website” field and then save.

Go to appearance > custom design > fonts and set the “title” to the font that you want and then save.

Thank you so much! I managed to change the link to my name…
I set my title to FF Market (my font of choice), but it doesn’t allow me the option of changing the font for the tagline and the menu – any ideas?
I hugely appreciate your help :)

Add this to your CSS. The font size originally was 14px. I increased it to 16 so it would be more legible, but you can edit that as you see fit.

font-family: ff-market-web-1,ff-market-web-2,"Hoefler Text","Baskerville old face",Garamond,"Times New Roman",serif !important;
font-size: 16px;
}

Hi!

Thanks for the help, but when I tried inserting the code into my CSS nothing changed at all. Do you have any idea why? This is what was happening when I tried adding

At the moment, I’m simply copying and pasting the code at the bottom of my CSS Stylesheet editor. Is that the right thing to do? I had previously made some changes to the size of the title with this code

You didn’t put what I told you to put. Do NOT give only the two typekit fonts. If something happens then the browser is going to toss whatever it wants into your site. I copied the font stack from the title so if the custom fonts don’t happen to load, the site title and tagline will still look consistent.

Did you see the “!important” I had at the end of the font stack (list of fonts)? That has to be there to force the font we are specifying to override the font that was already applied (lemonade something or other).

You already have the color declarations for the site title in your CSS. Edit the color codes in the following two (top is non-hover and second is the hover color).
```
#site-title a {
color: #444444;
}

#site-title a:hover {
color: #888888;
}
```
For the menu items, add the following and edit the color code.
```
#access a, div.menu a {
color: #111111;
}
```
