Unable to change my Header image on my blog – theme is Hemmingway.

Hi, when I try to change the image on my header I am able to upload a new photo, but when I press Select and Crop image, I get a message saying ‘there has been an error cropping your image.’

Hmm, that definitely shouldn’t happen! Let’s rule-out something first:
First, please make sure that your browser is up to date: https://browsehappy.com/
Please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser if it is not.
If it is, please do these two things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.
2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
Please let us know how each step goes for you and which browser (and version) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

Thank you so much for your response. I updated my browser – Firefox – cleared cache and cookies and also disabled extensions and add-ons. Sadly, still no luck :( I am still getting an error message when I try crop a photo for my header. Any other idea as to what is causing the problem please? Thank you for your attention.

Hi there,
It appears the issue occurs while cropping the images as the image size is really high. The suggested image dimensions for the header for this theme are 1280 × 426 pixels. I would recommend re-uploading the image at the size closer to those dimensions and seeing if that helps. For information on how to optimize your images, please visit our support page:
