Unable to choose images in gallery widget

  I am unable to add images to a Gallery Widget on the content sidebar. When I click ‘choose images’ nothing happens. I use Chrome but have tried using IE instead and have the same problem. I have tried on three different computers. I can add a gallery to a blog post but nothing happens when clicking ‘choose images’ when it is the sidebar widget.

  Others have reported this problem when trying to use the Customizer to create the widget. Try creating and adding the widget in the Dashboard> Appearance>Widgets instead.
