Unable to comment on wordpress.com blogs
-
Dear support team,
I m having a problem commenting on all wordpress.com blogs. When I enter the following email address ((email visible only to moderators and staff)), it will say “You are being asked to login because [this email address] is used by an account you are not logged into now.”
This email address is the email of my wordpress.org blog, but it is NOT a wordpress.com email (it is rightly found as non-existent when I claim I lost my password). Therefore I don’t know why I can’t post a comment on wordpress.com blogs and why it will ask me to log in to an account that doesn’t exist.
There are similar issues on the forum, but everytime someone has had this problem, it was resolved magically. My 3rd party cookies are working fine (green check on the test webpage) and the issues is happens with cache cleared, on another computer, etc.
Can you please have a look at it? Thanks
For info, some of the blogs I can’t post at are oneworldofcolor dot wordpress.com and bikenamibia dot wordpress.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The email address you mentioned isn’t registered as a WordPress.com account, but it is listed as a secondary email address for a WordPress.com account in Gravatar. You’ll need to log in to the account that has that email as a secondary email address in order to post comments with that email address.
However, that account isn’t your account jbjapon. If you need help regaining access to the right account, you may want to check out this page: Account Recovery

Oh, that integration of gravatar and wordpress is tricky.
I found the other account and removed the email address. Thanks for your help.

Yeah, those secondary email addresses in Gravatar can be a bit tricky. I’m glad you were able to sort it out! :)
