Unable to confirm email in order to start publishing blog posts

  Hi,

  The “Resend Email” to confirm email is not working in order to publish first blog post. I never receive the confirmation email, have tried numerous times checking spam & everything in gmail. I was able to reset my password using the same email, so I don’t the address is the problem. Looked at help docs, but didn’t find an answer. How do I confirm email address in order to start publishing pages/posts?

  Hello Josh,
  I have noticed several users reporting the same issue today. I’ll be happy to tag this for staff attention. Please subscribe to this thread so you will know when they assist you.

  Staff is backlogged and works through threads in chronological order. The best thing to do is be patient, and know that they will take care of you as soon as they are able.

  Thanks. It was a bit of a hack, but I got it to work by resetting to a different email, then switching back to gmail. Something about the “resend confirmation” button is not working properly.
