Unable to connect Linkedin account since changing LI profile URL

  Hi, I recently changed my profile URL to uk.linkedin.com/in/nicolaavery/
  Since then, when I try and share with linkedin using Publicise button I get the message below and please try again.
  I tried deleting the original connection to Linkedin and removed the WordPress application on Linkedin too. I am continuing to get errors when I press allow i.e.

  I can’t connect to Linkedin anymore neither.. keeps asking me to re-authenticate and then comes up with error
