Unable to connect to wordpress.com

  When I am going to USE the API of this wordpress.com acount to my actual blog, It gives me the Error Message saying….

  Error from last API Key attempt:
  Your blog was unable to connect to WordPress.com. Please ask your host for help. (transport error – could not open socket: )

  Please Help me what to do!!!!

  Is your actual blog a self-hosted WordPress blog? If it is, better head over to WordPress.ORG and ask your question there.

  If your trying to use the API then you need to Contact Staff
  so they can help you out
