Unable to create a collection

So I’m trying to showcase my products on my ecommerce site. I chose pre-designed block ‘Product Collection 4 Columns’. Now this block is giving the option to chose the product collection such as ‘Featured’, ‘Top Rated’, etc., and have an option to create our own collection. When I try to create my own collection, noting happens. I have tried refreshing the page, clearing cache of browser, website and webhost.
Steps to reproduce
- Click “+” to add new block
- Search for “Products”
- Scroll down to bottom of list to see suggestions
- Select any Product Collection
- Select the collection
- Click on ‘Choose Collection’ (As shown in Image 1)
- Click on ‘Create your own’ (As shown in Image 2)

Hi,
When you select “Create your own” under the Product Collection block, nothing will visibly pop up right away, which can definitely be confusing. What actually happens is that the block switches into a custom mode that lets you define your own filters (like product tags, categories, etc.) from the block settings on the right sidebar.
If you’re adding this block inside a dynamic template (like Products by Tag), it may still sync with the page context and display filtered products automatically. You can turn this off by disabling the “Sync with current query” toggle in the block settings (Query Type: Default or Custom) — that’ll give you full control over what’s shown.
