Unable to create a new site

  Im trying to open a new ecommerce site using woocommerce. When I try to create a free site, I get this:

  ‘We’ve hit a snag

  It looks like something went wrong while setting up your store. Please contact support so that we can help you out.’

  What is going on here?

  Correct account: Yes

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It sounds like you need help with the WooCommerce plugin but have landed on the support forum for WordPress.com sites instead.
