Unable to create a new user

  Hi, I’m helping a friend create a WordPress blog and user for the first time, and although while filling the e-mail, username, password fields there’s a check mark in all of them, when clicking in the CREATE BLOG button at the bottom, we don’t get a confirmation e-mail, and the e-mail address is not recognised by the system. We’ve tried with three different e-mail addresses, usernames, browsers, we erased cookies and even used a different computer to no avail. What are we missing?

  What was the URL of the blog you were trying to create?

  It sounds like the registration isn’t being completed. I’m not seeing a marinagarciabravo.wordpress.com in the system anywhere.

  When you tried the different computer, did you use a different browser?

  I tried with Chrome, Safari and Explorer. Three different computers, three different browsers. Nada.
  All I have to do is fill out the information and go to the bottom and click on the Create Blog Button right?

  It only takes me back to the top but I get no notice that my info is incomplete, or that my blog could not be created, etc.

  And just to be clear, you are using http://WordPress.com to register, correct? And you have logged out of any active WordPress.com accounts before registering?
