Unable to create a site!

  hi..
  I’m trying to start creating a website, but as soon as I click on create a site it takes me to a page where it shows ‘Awesome! Give us one minute and we’ll move right along.
  Please wait…’ and gets stuck on it for hours!
  please help me fix this issue.
