Unable to create custom menues
-
I am trying to create a custom menu but I do not want to parent tab to link to anything. I have read the ‘how to’ on wordpress, but can’t seem where to change my ‘pages’ to ‘custom’ so that I can remove the url link. Can anyone help?
Thanks

Hi,
Sorry if you already know this, but what you were referring to is called ‘Static parent tabs’. Here’s how to make one: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#creating-static-parent-tabs

Hi Hafizr,
Thank you for you help, this is my first page and I am getting there, but slowly. I had tried to make my parent pages static, the problem I am seeming to find is that I can’t make my parent pages customizable. From looking around this could also be due to the theme that I have chosen, but I want to get everything sorted and laid out in a free theme before spending $75+ for another one.
On the page link you sent one the grey page title bar is says ‘custom’ or ‘category’. How do I get this to show rather than just ‘page’. It is probably something simple as my home page seems to be marked as ‘custom’
