Unable to create directory

    Hello,
    Im having the following error
    Unable to create directory uploads/2018/11. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
    I have set my debug option on and this is showing now:

    Deprecated: Function create_function() is deprecated in /home/i18cxj28humx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ninja-forms/includes/Widget.php on line 109

    I am not sure if one has to do with the other. But my main issue is not being able to upload images to the back end. I have checked with my hosting provider and they said its a WP error. could you please direct me as to what the issue is and how can I fix it.
