Unable to create gallery, option on left panel completely vanished?

  I used to create galleries on options on left lower panel now option has totally disappeared, any ideas whats happening? Is it because I made my site blog private? Thanks.

  I’ll be happy to help. Your privacy setting should not be affecting this.

  I want to clarify where the question is coming form. Are you not getting the gallery option when adding the media to the post?

  Or do you not see the gallery post format option under the Post Format tab to the left of the post editor?

  Lastly, can you let me know which browser you are working in?

  Hi Lizkarkoski the post format on the left was not there and after and before adding the media there was no gallery option nowhere however I since discovered that by changing the theme the gallery option is now there, it must have not been an option to create gallery in the previous theme, weird that…

  What is the site URL? I’d just like to confirm that there is not a bug with the themes that needs further investigation.

  Hi Lizkarkoski I don’t remember what the previous theme was but it didn’t have the option to create gallery so I had to change the theme back to twenty fourteen to get the gallery option back.
