Unable to create new page and edit existing pages

  Hello
  I am creating my first website using WordPress. I am getting ‘Sorry, you are not allowed to edit this post.’ error message while creating new page and editing existing pages. Please help.

  In that case you’re using the open source version of WordPress found on WordPress.org. WordPress.com is something completely different, and we cannot help you with this in our forums.

  Please ask for advice in https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ instead.
