Unable to create new posts

    When I click on the link to write a new post, I get a blank page.

    Hi there,
    Here are a few steps that might help you with this issue.
    1. Deactivate any active plugins one at a time and test out if the problem still persists. This might be as a result of a plugin incompatibility. Try doing the same with your theme.

    2. If you rule out plugins and the theme, please make sure that your browser is up to date by visiting https://whatbrowser.org/
    If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.

    3. If your browser is updated, try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies and then try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

    Apologies for the first link not working. You can do a quick google search for steps on how to check that your browser is updated.

    Thank you for your response. I did a google search and found exactly what you said to do. I am now able to write posts, but whenever I try to add pictures, I get the white page again. Any suggestions for that problem?

    Please note that your site at capeofdreams.com is using the WordPress.org software and is hosted by Bluehost. We aren’t able to provide direct support for sites using WordPress.org as this forum is for WordPress.com sites. If you aren’t sure about the differences, please check out this page: WordPress.com vs WordPress.org.

    Since the site is not hosted by us, we aren’t able to look into its settings or try and replicate it on our end. If all plugins and themes are updated, and switching to a default theme and disabling the plugins doesn’t help, please post on the WordPress.org community support forum here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums

    Folks over there have more expertise with the WordPress.org software so they will be able to help you further with troubleshooting this.
