unable to create post

    hi,
    the message ‘Updating failed. Sorry, you are not allowed to edit this post.’ and ‘Sorry, you are not allowed to create posts as this user’ keep appearing. I’m unable to create, edit and preview posts and I’m unsure why.
    help would be appreciated.

    I am having the same trouble, or was, until I also posted in the forum. Then, magically, I was able to edit my post and upload photos and do all the stuff that I couldn’t do before.

    Hi there,

    Do you happen to be using Google Chrome as your web browser? If so, our engineers have identified an issue with the most recent version which causes our login session cookies to become invalid, which can result in a insufficient permissions message.

    To get around this you can clear your cache and cookies by following the steps here: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/32050

    Once you have done that the message should go away. If not please also try logging out (and the back in) to your WordPress.com account to reset the cookies that way.
