Unable to create site with preferred name.

    Hi, I have attempted to create a site but was only offered a variation of my requested name. When I visit the preferred site name I am shown that it is no longer available and that The authors have deleted this site. Surely this means it is available to me.

    How do I obtain this site?

    Hi John,

    It’s not possible to reclaim a deleted address. I recommend trying an available name, or register a domain (like example.com) as we do offer a number of extensions.
