unable to delete account

  I am trying to delete my account so that I can use my hosting site to install my wp and it’s giving me an error to contact support. Please delete my account. Thank you.

  Hi there,

  Having a WordPress.com account does not in any way prevent you from installing the open source WordPress software at another host. Your account with us does not have anything to do with any sites or accounts you have at other hosting providers.

  I don’t see anything in your account that would prevent it from being closed. Have you followed the steps that @stwnigel linked to above?

  I did and it gave me an error,”unable to complete/process, contact support” either way, I just wanted it deleted so it avoids confusion. Thank you.

  Hmmm. Have you tried the deletion process from a different browser? Does that work any differently for you?
