Unable to delete many tags in Worpress

  Hi There,
  I’m trying to delete many tags (More than 700). I’m trying to use the Bulk command to do so but it seems it doesn’t work and I have to do it manually, tag by tag, waiting to have them deleted as for some tags, they can be used in more than 1,000 articles. Is there a way to do that differently by entering into the database or any other solution?
