Unable to Delete Site

When clicking on the link in the site deletion confirmation email, I get the following error message:
“I’m sorry, the link you clicked was invalid or has expired. Please try again or contact support.”
This likely has to do with my having changed the email address on my account??? Obviously, I still have access to the old address, but would like the new address to be the only address associated with this account.
Any help would be appreciated.
