Unable to delete Tags, Comments, Users… Deleted ones Reappear after Reload

  I am unable to delete Tags or Comments from my wordpress site. When I go to Post –> Tags and delete selected tags, they get deleted with a message confirming Deleted Successfully. but they reappear when I reload the page.

  Same is the case with Users, Comments, Categories etc.

  Although, I am able to makes new ones.

  Using non-hosted wordpress with all the plugins like WP-sweep / Wp Optimise etc. deactivated.

  Any solution to this? Please somebody help me out!
