Unable to Delete Website (I followed all the instructions)

I followed all the instructions on the ‘How do I delete my site?’ page but am still unable to do it. Can someone please help?

Yes! I have the same problem. My wordpress page actually says “you have no site” but when I google my name it STILL comes up. I desperately want it down. Any suggestions would be great!

Hi there,
Are you going to My Site ->Settings to delete your site? There are several steps to delete a site, including a confirmation screen where you need to type in the URL of the site. If you make any typos there it won’t complete the deletion.
The site, https://avivagibbswrites.wordpress.com/, is not deleted, and it also does not belong to your account. Only the account that owns a site can delete it.
Even if you log into the correct account and delete it, we don’t control if or when it will be removed from Google’s cache.
