Unable to disconnect Twitter

I’m having trouble disconnecting my Twitter account from my publicize settings. More specifically, my Twitter has somehow been listed three times in my publicize, so that every time I make a new post, the publicize tweet is sent out three times. I’d like to be able to turn off two of the three copies, but the WordPress site won’t let me.
When I attempt to disconnect one of the superfluous Twitter listings in my publicize settings, I get a confirmation request asking if I’m sure I want to disconnect the account; when I click yes, I then get a screen saying “Congratulations! You’ve successfully connected your Twitter account”, whereupon it sends me back to the original publicize settings screen. Nothing I try seems to get around this loop. All three of the Twitter listings cause the same problem, and I can’t find any other options that will give me a way to deactivate any of them. Any help appreciated.
