Unable to display blog when not logged in

Hi I have got a small business account with yahoo and I activated the word press on the domain. I wrote my first post and now I if iam logged into my word press control panel I can click on view site and can see the site. But if I log out and go to the same address I am unable to view the site. it gives me a blank page with no display.
please help me get started with my word press startup

Is this your blog? If it is then it’s loading just fine for me; I see My Weblog and the Hello World post after a couple of seconds.It might be a problem with your browser; try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies and try again, or try it in another browser. Or it might be that your internet connection is timing out; check that everything is connected and you can access other sites. If you can, then try turning off any security software to see if it’s interfering; you might need to change the settings so it recognizes WordPress. Hope that helps.

Well, that blog isn’t working for me either; it’s just a blank grey page no matter what browser I use. Is your blog on WordPress.com, though, or are you self-hosted using WordPress.org software? The address suggests you might be self-hosted; if that’s the case you’ll need to head over to http://wordpress.org/support/ as the software we use is different. If your blog is a WP.com blog, I think you’ll need to contact staff about it for help; you can do that once support opens on Monday.

hi I am able to write the blog from my WP control panel and able to view If I am logged on the WP control panel that I have, but if I am logged out and then try to view the blog all i get is a blank screen

I fixed it out myself I disabled the plugins and then also reset WP cache and now it worked i believe.
check it out and please guide as how I could use word press more effectively. I think I should start first by reading the user guide. Also let me know what are the steps that I could take to improve my blogs.

Good to see it’s working now. But that confirms that it’s a WordPress.org blog; we don’t have and can’t install plugins like you can. You’ll need to look at the documentation and support over at http://wordpress.org/ as it’ll be different to ours. If you go over there, you’ll find everything you need. Happy blogging. :)

I also just wanted to ask you, Is movable type better than word press, I checked the movable type and its very confusing and very complex but word press appeared to be very simple and easy to configure.

Well, it’s a matter of opinion. As you’re asking in a WordPress forum and I use WordPress, of course I’ll say WP. :) I find WP simple to use and powerful, and your WP.org blog has great functionality (greater than our). Movable Type has a steeper learning curve but a lot of nice features as well. It really just comes down to a matter of taste and how comfortable you are using software. I’d prefer either of them over Blogger any day of the week. :)
