Unable to Download Profile Photo in Gravatar

  I am not that cyber-savvy but I will send this request out yet again. My URL is adrianafaithdotme.wordpress.com and my Gravatar is my e-mail address ((email visible only to moderators and staff)). It has been pointed out to me that this discrepancy is why I can’t download a photo on Gravatar. The words cache & cookies were thrown out and could have helped a knowledgeable person; in my case I managed to delete some photos from the hard-drive. Is there anyone out there who can direct a Luddite on a course of action; this is important to me. But I get confused….(Note: a friend set up my blog…all I’ve had to do is type & hit Publish.) Thank you in advance. Randell

  Note that gravatars/blavatars (favicons) do not show up instantly after uploading them. Gravatar images are cached and frequently take several days to display after a change.

  Dashboard → Settings → General

  Do not keep uploading!
  Do not forget to select an image rating.

  To enable Gravatar display and hovercard display on your blog go to > Settings > Discussion and scroll way done the page to “Avatars”.

  TY Timethief! by using the avatar/blavatar support page I managed to download a photo to my actual blog….but still nothing more. Gravatar and wordpress still show Mystery Person (as you can see) and when I like or comment, the default emoticon is used. It’s been a week…..

  Let me reiterate: I finally have a downloaded photo on my blog page BUT the wordpress site does not show it Nor when I like or comment…any ideas?
